What happened after attending “Your Sensitivity Is Your Power” teleseries

Just before the New Year, I had the immense pleasure of doing a bit of “pre-paving” my future by attending Dr. Alison J. Kay’s, “Your Sensitivity Is Your Power” tele-call series, and wowee!!

So, what happened after I attended the tele-call series?

I gained a clarity of my own personal power. Almost like I was stepping up a staircase of emotional well-being and balance! Yes, I accepted an invitation from the Universe to step up my personal power by being on these calls, and I’m the better for it!

As a sensitive type of person–in my life having been known as one to cry easily, become overly concerned with other people’s dramas, or get easily overwhelmed, I noticed each day after the tele-call experience, I felt lighter, happier, and less concerned with other people’s “stuff” going on around me!

Sometimes, I tend to feel as though I am carrying the burden of other people so much, that I prefer not to interact with others at all. Much of those feelings lifted after the tele-call series for me, and continue to lift as time goes on.

People used to tell me they knew I was naturally empathic. Dr. Kay explained empaths and their traits in great detail during the tele-call series. She let us know how each of us could use our gift of empathy to give us more ease and comfort day-to-day. We learned how to use our sensitive side without losing our sense of self.

After each tele-call, I began to practice any/all of the following each day–whenever any difficult situation or conversation would occur:

  • Mentally ask myself,Is this mine?” And, if I knew it was NOT my problem, then I would mentally state, “Return to sender with grace, ease, and love attached, or I would simply state, “Send ’em love” (learned previously, but not practiced much) to really feel the vibrations emanating from my heart (the invisible intelligence Dr. Wayne Dyer used to speak of) going out to the person, lifting my feelings about whatever was going on.
  • Breathereally breathe, even take an extra walk as needed, climb stairs, stretch, or meditate. Then at my office desk, self soothe with my Young Living essential oils, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ), and/or Yamuna Body Rolling — using one ball behind my back and/or putting my bare feet on the foot wakers under my desk. (This has also has enabled me to share these modalities with others when they would ask what I was doing–Yay!)
  • Distance myself when my inner being tells me, re-soundly, that right NOW (in THIS moment), this person or place is not good for me (or I am not good for others in this space). I honor, respect, and love myself enough, to walk away and go to another place where I can feel good!
  • Set boundaries. I can choose whether–whatever is happing in this moment–conflicts with what I’ve previously written about (to “Be open to receive”) and to know that I am allowed also, to receive or not. Must I receive all and filter? Must I receive bad to receive good? Maybe. But, I have the power to choose that for myself.
  • Expand my energy – Each morning include in my meditation to go into my awareness and expand it outward to my family, my circle of influence, neighbors, local community, state, region, country, continent, and world. Celebrate the knowing of others via Twitter, Facebook, my blogs, etc. whom live in other countries. Celebrate this knowing of WE ARE ALL CONNECTED. This is true.
  • Empower myself. Indeed, put my cape on! 😉 Be my authentic self. Act on the truth that my inner being resonates with, i.e. when I feel my “God bumps”. I even signed up for Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith’s Life Visioning class, no doubt because of how powerful I felt after completing Dr. Kay’s tele-call series! How does it get any better than this? Yay! And later, I signed up for Yamuna classes (see this Examiner article I wrote) to learn about “Body Rolling”.
  • Though I know, I don’t act like it. It is never necessary to be the victim. I am not trapped. I always have a choice. I break any DNA, biological, mental, or spiritual chains that could have come through my lineage and blood. In the name of our Limitless, Ever-Living, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Pulsating, Be-ing, Creator Source God who IS the Energy that holds the Universe together. Beyond what we can see. Beyond what we now know. Faith IS the substance of things not yet seen.

Empaths have our own level of sensitivity, level of awareness, unique energetic healing modalities, and spiritual gifts to share with the world! I am ready to share mine!

The tele-call sessions with Dr. Alison J Kay and her empowering messages and clearings, transformed past (even something that happened a moment ago is “the past”) shame of negative actions–allowing me to consciously “let go” of negative limiting thoughts, acknowledging that forgiveness is a daily process. I knew the pain I felt in my body were the cells of my body (scientist Candace Pert proved cells hold memories) calling out for me to transcend and know that really everything IS okay!

Dr. Kay’s clearings tuned me in and provided me with different verbiage to explain to myself, and to you in this post, what had been happening. Healing is an ongoing PROCESS!

Everyday life causes certain connections to occur:

  • The neighbor who may or may not smile at me when I step outside. That person doesn’t know me.
  • The store clerk that serves me may ask, “Did you find everything okay?” without really meaning it.
  • The restaurant owner’s son, who while ignoring us, scolded an employee (the employee was actually attempting to seat us) for not following proper procedures. He didn’t realize they would lose a customer by behaving that way in front of us, instead of just seating us–they could train their staff in private later!
  • The soldier (police, firefighter, teacher, or other public servant) who is just “doing their job” without considering the moral choices he or she actually has.

Many of us abdicate our ability to choose and lose a moment (or more) of happiness and joy for  ourselves and others. And we can help others – we really can! If we’re in better shape emotionally, mentally, and physically, we can change the world! And why is that important? Because We Are All Connected!

The energies and what I learned during Dr. Alison J. Kay’s tele-call series for sensitives continues to free me. The time spent on her calls FELT sooo good, not just for a short time, but weeks later.

About Dr. Alison J. Kay: Meditation and yoga teacher Dr. Alison J. The tele-call  series gave me hope for all of us to continue on our journey, learning and growing every day. To me, there is no such thing as “false hope”. Hope is hope. Because FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things not yet seen.

I invite you to continue opening your mind to learning about something new in 2016 and beyond. You are never to old to be open to receive new and helpful information.

Be ye blessed in ALL ways.

Fasting again… more insights and synchronicities

Hello friends and tribe,

As I have written previously, in the “We Are All Connected” article, “In my experience, if your heart is pointed in the direction of LOVE you emanate a vibration, sending ripples of unconditional love and compassion outward, which allow you to be a blessing to others. You will help yourself and lift others.”

I have also spoken about frequency, vibration, and energy as it pertains to the tone of our voice. As we communicate our words to each other, our tone sets off and gives to all, the intention of our hearts. Our tone actually communicates MORE than the words we are speaking! It may be one reason why some of us prefer to learn from hearing people speak, vs. reading, though I am certainly grateful that a good many of us read!

Now that my doggie is going deaf, I have noticed that he still responds to my voice and I think that is because my tone sends a vibration to him, that while he cannot hear the way he used to, he still knows the vibration of ME (and what I’m requesting of him).

Imagine throwing an object into water. You see the ripple effect from the pressure disturbance. In physics, one name for this effect, is the Huygen’s principle.

Huygen’s principle theorizes a “qualitative explanation of linear and spherical wave propagation” but does not answer the question of why waves are not circular (irregularities are maintained ) when an irregular shaped object is thrown into water.

What has that got to do with fasting, insights and synchronicities?

As you know, when you fast (abstain from solid food) the body uses the time it normally would to digest food to take care of a lot of other processes instead. For me, it always sharpens my mental abilities, opening me to new insights.

I am prone to using the time I would otherwise be thinking of what I want to eat, shopping (well, my husband does most of the shopping actually), preparing food, etc. to using the freed up time to read, exercise (even walking Beau more), watch YouTube videos, pray, clean, engage with others, think, and write.

Yes, while it’s my nature to analyze and over-think, this occurs on an even deeper level when I am fasting and though synchronicities abound, I am more aware of them.

So, I’ve looked back on some of my tweets (I love Twitter because I can note these deep thoughts in the moment) on days I’ve fasted (or when I’ve just came off a fast). In the moment, I’ve tagged these deep thoughts with #Love, #God, or #Peace. The particular thoughts that just seem to drop into my mind, are the ones I specifically tagged #God, or even ended with “- God” as if to sign them from God (as some church billboards have done).

Looking back on that, I see that Love, God, and Peace are all attributes of the energy and vibration that makes up All-That-Is, All One, the Ever-Living, Filling-ALL-Space, LIMITLESS Creator that vibrationally, connects us all.

  • You ARE only seeing PART of the picture – ever. God.
  • All tone of voice comes from the intention we are flowing, transmitting from our hearts. We literally pulse vibration outward!
  • Most people have had God’s unconditional love, conditioned right out of them.
  • We are each a leaf on God’s tree (Gaia), each with our own unique perspective.
  • Displaying confidence is really just YOU, your real unlimited self!
  • Because I am a “being“, I am always worthy, because I am always . Always on my way. Always accepting.
  • When you with the ones you think the of, the world is yours!
  • When what you believe in hurts other people rather than helps, it’s not about , it’s about you.
  • When my tasks are aligned with my , I am going with the flow and feel great! When I am tired after work, I was in resistance.
  • If you can your enemies, man everything else comes !
  • There is nothing static in this world. Everything , revolves, shrinks, or grows. That’s life!
  • Its simple really. Instead of “God made us in God’s image”, we see and make God to be like us, in our image. (Which is what causes us the most problems.) God is Energy, in All.
  • Why were we made in God’s image? To reflect God in all we be, do, and have!
  • Be as water, flow on and all. Seek your own level (balance). Water is not good or bad, water just IS.
  • WE are to God upon each other, as water reflects the sky.
  • Whenever I bad, sad, mad, etc. it is always because my perspective differs from God’s POV which, is ALL WAYS

If your in a quandary about something, the best you can do in the moment may be to stop and do nothing (but keep breathing). Then, as you begin to start again, say yes only to the things that come your way that feel lighter (vs. heavier) feeling for the guiding bodily sensations before making a particular choice. Many call that listening to their “gut feeling.” I call these familiar sensations, my “God bumps”, and they are my validation that I’m heading the right way – and perhaps also confirming, so are you.

My way, may not be, your way. Many paths – one destination.

Don’t ignore your inner guidance – it exists for a reason.cropped-cropped-takeituponyourself-small-logo2.jpgIf you want to experience greater vitality, health, and prosperity, choose thoughts that move you to FEEL good. That’s about as simple as it gets and even a child can understand.

Please check out my books, other blog titles here — thank you.

In ALL ways, BE a blessing.

Amen and Namaste.

What are your Limiting Beliefs?

What are your “limiting beliefs”?

Limiting beliefs are thoughts you keep thinking, that probably sneak out in your speaking, that are your perceived limitations, and they limit you from moving forward in at least one area of life.

After a year of working on my limiting beliefs – the ones I had already admitted to myself – I happened to hear myself say, “Nobody listens to me” while discussing something with a coworker. Aha! I’d just caught a limiting belief! It’s something I say over and over again, and think even more! It IS a limiting belief and it’s not true! People do listen to me, even if they don’t – in the moment – express the hearing of my message, or acknowledge that what I’m saying may prompt them to action, or change.

I stopped right in the middle of the conversation and explained to my coworker that I had to jot down my “aha moment“.

Meditation has helped me become aware of my thoughts. Listening to myself, I can barely have a conversation anymore without really hearing what I say! Am I communicating my highest intention?

Aha moments are vitally important. I am always learning (from my own words) and love these type of profound teachable moments, which add serenity to my life!

I am an empath, so I must always be observant of my thoughts to know whether I’m taking on someone else’s stuff, or whether indeed, my thoughts and feelings are my own.

Now I know that anytime I start to go down the thought path of “nobody listens to me”, I can change it to “everybody listens to me”, or “everybody hears me”.

I’ll try that and see how other things change in my life. Now that’s a limiting belief worth sharing.

Are We Real? Perceptions of Reality

There are many reasons why I pose the question, “are we real”? What brings me to this question? If we are real, how real are we? This might get deep. (Updated as new thoughts emerge.)

People exist in some material form since we displace space and the weight of us makes an impression, thanks to gravity on the Earth
People breathe
People process take substances in & expel substances out of our bodies
People think (have awareness, observe, analyze, and judge)
People feel
People communicate (or attempt to)
People procreate

Interestingly people can create things, but they cannot create LIFE. They can procreate only other human beings. Babies are the only other living entities we can create. Yet we often care more about non-living things than we about any other living organism. Is there a source or a creator? You may answer differently but for me, as intricate and finely tuned, balanced, as life is – I believe in God, Creator, Source. The master of the source code.

In the first Men in Black movie, Tommy Lee Jones’ character “K” told Will Smiths’ character “J”, “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.” That line sparked an intrigue in me. Thus this post. If we believe individuals are smart but masses of people are dumb it explains why we have governments and politics to guide the masses. Does it explain why individuals and groups help others (during crisis situations) seemingly for no thought of gain? For example, good samaritans don’t take time to consider being paid before they rush to help someone – they may often risk life or limb to help someone just for the sake of helping. Yet, individuals argue over relatively stupid and short lived issues. Situations that in five, ten, or twenty years will not matter one iota. Is motivation a factor? Large groups tend to be motivated by money. Perhaps at first, when the group was small the motivation was pure charity. But as they grow larger, greed sets in.

Our bodies are electrically charged. This is why when two people have a conversation, or shared thought / mindset they may say to each other, “ah, we’re on the same wavelength”! Speaking of being on the same wavelength I never feel good during any kind of confrontation. Do you? I feel the disharmony in the energy of the confrontation. Why? I think it’s because we’re supposed to live in harmonious resonance with each other. I think it’s because a state of joy and well being are supposed to be our “normal” mode of operation. I believe we’re energetic beings. Science has proven our bodies are electric. How can we profess to be people of any faith, go to worship God somewhere one day (usually a day that our prescribed faith deems appropriate), yet fairly soon upon leaving the sanctuary, cuss someone out who cuts us off in traffic, belittle a child, tell a lie, fight with a loved one, etc. I’m sure you can think of other incidents even more negatively charged. Why? Didn’t we just hear a sermon or speech that in some way impressed upon us the importance of “loving”, i.e. “love thy neighbor as thyself”?

Sitting at a stop light the other day I had the experience of looking back just as a man three cars behind me in traffic got out of his car and apparently while shouting (I couldn’t hear him but I could see his mouth moving) he pointed finger, and shook his hand and arm at the driver in front of him. What made me look back at just that precise moment? Did I sense the energy coming my way? It almost felt as though I was feeling his anger on an animal instinctual level. I prayed the light would change so I could just move on.

Many faiths teach about love. Christians have many scriptures devoted to love and forgiveness of others who wrong us in some way, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8 NIV), and “Father forgive them, they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34), as well as, “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Muslims know these scriptures from the Quran: “God loves those who: do good (Quran 2:195), are pure and clean (Quran 2:222), are righteous (Quran 3:76), are just and act rightly (Quran 5:42), trust Him (Quran 3:159), are patient and persevering (Quran 3:146), love Him and follow the prophet (Quran 3:31), and fight in His cause (Quran 61:4). Hindu’s teach that one should love, not expecting anything in return. Sikhism teaches that only those who love will attain God. The Unification faith teaches true love as the center of their theology. Tibetan Buddhism teaches of salvation from achieving unselfish love for others. Why then with all of this love being taught and believed, is the opposite experienced at all in the world?

I watched this YouTube video which speculates an answer to the question, “are we real” – Click here.

The video sways back and forth between natural laws proving there is a God, Creator, or Designer – and not. That our universe, even just our world, can all be explained mathematically. Being a technical person, an analyst, I have studied a lot of math in the course of my career and education. I’ve also studied, and talked with a lot of people who believe differently. I’ve learned to appreciate and value diversity – not just tolerate it. “Think different” is the Apple slogan. You may be familiar with that from watching commercials on TV. I say it’s good to contemplate subjects from a variety of viewpoints. “Just do it”, is the Nike slogan – which tries to entice people to get moving (in their athletic shoes of course). So back to religion.

Many faiths, instruct us to pray, meditate, worship, sit in silence. Why? When we quiet our mind, we still our thoughts. When we still our thoughts we stop negative unproductive thoughts. Perhaps true creativity comes to us at this point. We become “available to spirit”. We aren’t doing anything but breathing. Could God be in the breath? (Remember the very air we breathe is made up of molecules of oxygen, hydrogen, argon, nitrogen, carbon, water vapor and other gases – and also there is empty space between all molecules).

I am learning when I “just breathe” and focus on my breathing that my body relaxes and I think better. Why? Where do our thoughts come from? Science is finding our thoughts come from outside of our brain – but they still do not understand how our brains work. I believe our brains are both a transmitter and a receiver. And our children are blank computers that we program, with every action, every word, and I dare say, with every thought that we think aimed in their direction or perhaps within their vicinity. I’ve learned by watching my granddaughter (born in late 2011) that she attempts to communicate to those around her in non verbal ways. I’ve watched in amazement when she understood what we were saying to her, though she has yet to figure out how to work her tongue to form the words on her lips.

When you gaze at someone, someone that is not looking at you, perhaps across a room, why do they turn and look at you – often within just a few seconds? You know those times. Often when it happens we quickly turn away because we don’t want them to wonder why we were watching them. I believe it’s because we’re transmitting a thought toward them, wondering about them, judging them, speculating about them. We are all connected. Space is not empty. And consider space is everywhere, within our universe, within our body, within all cells, and molecules. There is a framework within so called empty space. Could God be the space? Or the framework? God is omni right? Omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscience. Perhaps our thoughts ride that framework.

Watch the video movie – it’s free. Then comment and let me know what you get out of it. I’m curious.

I’m speculating that we are indeed real, but that reality may not be what we’ve thought. Since computers were created science has had time to consider how electricity, turning on and off circuits very fast can store information and “do” things. All computer programs are a series of ones and zeros = on and off, true and false. That’s all it is folks (I’ve been working with and on computers for more than twenty years). That Facebook website and all those games and computer applications you love so much are only programs made up of ones and zeros. The Bible says God created the simple things to confound the wise. Could it be that our very thoughts set into motion vibrations, traveling upon frequencies (on a framework) that allows all of what we see around us to materialize? My mind is overwhelmed when I consider, even for a few moments, how intricate, how complex, and beautiful – and living all of creation is. I bet there are color frequencies, for example, in existence our brains are not able to interpret.

Perhaps we’re energy? A little old lady once told me not to wear my watch (because it had a battery in it) on my left wrist. She said that energy enters the body through the left hand and out the right hand. That the battery current would block energy from entering my body. I was astounded! And why did she tell me this? I don’t know. I’d never met her before – it was a brief encounter while I was working in retail. Later I had an experience while ill, that I was to put my palms together as I prayed for my healing. I did. I recovered. I felt that in my future, someway, somehow, I should explain to others this experience and why I believe it’s so important. When we pray, we put the palm of one hand against the palm of the other. Simply, this small act connects a circuit of energy. This means there is a very real reason why we put our hands together. When people say namaste and put their hands together in prayer form over their hearts it signifies we bow and honor the spirit of the other person. Applying logic perhaps holding hands would also be immensely important to transmit thoughts, feelings, emotions, to another. Ah, imagine what a hug does! (There’s been some studies on that also that are breathtakingly fascinating!)

Speaking of frequencies, consider all visual and audio information rides upon frequencies and our eyes and ears receive – then our brain interprets. This means everything we see, is light that falls onto our eyes and our brain then interprets the frequency resolving a mathematical computation based upon all of the former input (learning based on relationships, patterns, and associated meanings) in order to paint the picture that you see! The way this happens is similar to how a television antenna picks up a  frequency and presents it to your TV set, allowing you to watch it. First there was only black and white TV. Then color. Now high definition. Why? Because we’re always pushing the envelope – exploring and creating equipment which is continually improving the interpretation of the signals! Now consider, some of us dream in color – sometimes the colors are quite vivid – almost real.

Take it upon yourself to be the best you, that you want to be. May God allow you to see everything that is. Search. Question. Dream, believe, and achieve. Live. Laugh. Love. Breathe.
