Continuing thoughts on our Limitless Creator Source God Divine Infinite Intelligence etc

I attended a Mind Body Spirit expo in Sarasota and met a Tibetan Monk who studied under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (you may have heard of him, as he’s written many books). I was drawn to the monks’ energy, presence, and humility. I attended his talk, which was well received. And I bought two of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s CDs, so I could listen and discover new and deeper spiritual understandings.

I bought, “Eight Steps to Happiness” and “How to Solve Our Human Problems” and I have finally, completed my study of each set. Then, for Christmas, I gave my son and daughter-in-law the “Eight Steps…” and my dad the “…Human Problems” CDs. For more information about the monk I met, and where he practices, visit the Kadampa Meditation Center here.

I watched the movie Grounded, and gave several copies of it away too! (Click on the word Grounded to watch it on YouTube). The importance of earthing and grounding really resonate with me, not just for health and vitality, but to honestly connect with our Earth too! Nature can explain our Limitless Creator Source so beautifully, even so a child can understand.

I went to a special ceremony at the Dao temple, though at the time, I felt disconcerted about the stealthy way I had been invited with not much information to really make an educated decision about going. I just prefer to know a little bit about a religion / faith before attending, bowing, or worshiping. I was told it would only be a ceremonial blessing, however I came away with a birth certificate of sorts. And as I feel our Limitless Creator Source is big enough to work through any tradition or affiliation, I am open to receive all the good things of God and not judge them (too much anyway). After all, all any of us are really doing is ascribing human attributes onto a Creator we cannot (yet, if ever) fully understand.

How does a Buddhist monk, the natural practice of Grounding, and a Daoist ceremony tie together?

These are just a few of the new experiences I’ve had, which bolster my belief that God is too vast and expansive to comprehend.

I am about following / connecting to an Ever-Living Limitless God, who will use Buddha, Jesus Christ, or my dog (yes well sort of, whatever it takes) to reach us, to meet people “where they are” and bring them back to knowing their true essence, “who they really are”. I do not believe there is only  ONE way. I have never believed that.

Some might say that I hedged my spiritual bets years ago by being “saved” or “born again”, being baptized twice (one of those times was in the ocean–and it was beautiful), and now to have been blessed with a birth certificate from the Dao temple.

I believe we all have the ability to know, and connect with our Source, and in our quiet moments, Creator can speak to us–and we can FEEL it. This is the reason I love meditation.

I don’t feel that any one person’s connection to the Divine, or Infinite Intelligence is stronger than anyone else’s CAN be (with much mindfulness and meditation / prayer / acknowledging Spirit). We are all children of the Limitless Omni-Everything Creator. Each of us pulsating Source Energy at a different frequency. And Everything in the universe vibrates–yes, all physical atoms are vortices of energy, constantly spinning/vibrating, each emanating a unique energy signature. (Read any physics books by Niels Bohr.)

I have intimately struggled with so-called “religious beliefs” because of my RLDS upbringing, Native American ancestry (my mother and my maternal grandmother had healing gifts), and close Baptist friend who I sang with in a variety of churches when we were young.

  • I believe our bodies are our temple and we do not need a church or temple building
  • I do not believe in dogma
  • I do not believe in statues or icons
  • I think killing people (especially in the name of any religion) is ludicrous

I have written about my beliefs along the way, but I don’t think I’ve ever written it this cut and dry before.

I do believe God has a GREAT sense of humor and most of us (definitely me) take ourselves way too seriously!

I think Omni-potent God created us to show himself without ego. If God showed us himself He would be in EGO.

Think of it this way, I wrote a book and it has a picture of me on the back cover. In that photo, I am showing you my ego self, as the author. If instead, I show you only the front cover of the book (of what I created), I am not in ego, I am just celebrating my creation!

God celebrates His creation of each of us – everyday!

So, I tend to hold teachers, preachers, evangelists, and the like to a higher standard, because I hold myself in such a place of integrity (because of my beliefs of our Limitless Omniscient Source). However, this year, I’ve learned that because I hold myself to such a high standard/integrity, it very well might be a limiting belief, and causes me to feel bad when others let me down. Why do I feel people should be perfect?

I’ve said many times, “Christians should be held to a higher standard.” And every time I’ve felt that way, it’s caused me to feel bad, anxious, irritated, frustrated, angry, etc.

I choose to let go of that limiting belief.

Now, I replace thoughts about someone’s lack of “integrity”, with thoughts like, “everyone is doing the best they can” and “nobody’s perfect”, so I can radiate compassion, unconditional love, and bloom in the knowing that we are all “God’s children”.

Ah, that feels so much better! And my only job is to reach for these better feeling thoughts, in any moment of the day, when I begin to judge someone’s vibes, facial features, body language, words, tone, or actions.

Fasting again… more insights and synchronicities

Hello friends and tribe,

As I have written previously, in the “We Are All Connected” article, “In my experience, if your heart is pointed in the direction of LOVE you emanate a vibration, sending ripples of unconditional love and compassion outward, which allow you to be a blessing to others. You will help yourself and lift others.”

I have also spoken about frequency, vibration, and energy as it pertains to the tone of our voice. As we communicate our words to each other, our tone sets off and gives to all, the intention of our hearts. Our tone actually communicates MORE than the words we are speaking! It may be one reason why some of us prefer to learn from hearing people speak, vs. reading, though I am certainly grateful that a good many of us read!

Now that my doggie is going deaf, I have noticed that he still responds to my voice and I think that is because my tone sends a vibration to him, that while he cannot hear the way he used to, he still knows the vibration of ME (and what I’m requesting of him).

Imagine throwing an object into water. You see the ripple effect from the pressure disturbance. In physics, one name for this effect, is the Huygen’s principle.

Huygen’s principle theorizes a “qualitative explanation of linear and spherical wave propagation” but does not answer the question of why waves are not circular (irregularities are maintained ) when an irregular shaped object is thrown into water.

What has that got to do with fasting, insights and synchronicities?

As you know, when you fast (abstain from solid food) the body uses the time it normally would to digest food to take care of a lot of other processes instead. For me, it always sharpens my mental abilities, opening me to new insights.

I am prone to using the time I would otherwise be thinking of what I want to eat, shopping (well, my husband does most of the shopping actually), preparing food, etc. to using the freed up time to read, exercise (even walking Beau more), watch YouTube videos, pray, clean, engage with others, think, and write.

Yes, while it’s my nature to analyze and over-think, this occurs on an even deeper level when I am fasting and though synchronicities abound, I am more aware of them.

So, I’ve looked back on some of my tweets (I love Twitter because I can note these deep thoughts in the moment) on days I’ve fasted (or when I’ve just came off a fast). In the moment, I’ve tagged these deep thoughts with #Love, #God, or #Peace. The particular thoughts that just seem to drop into my mind, are the ones I specifically tagged #God, or even ended with “- God” as if to sign them from God (as some church billboards have done).

Looking back on that, I see that Love, God, and Peace are all attributes of the energy and vibration that makes up All-That-Is, All One, the Ever-Living, Filling-ALL-Space, LIMITLESS Creator that vibrationally, connects us all.

  • You ARE only seeing PART of the picture – ever. God.
  • All tone of voice comes from the intention we are flowing, transmitting from our hearts. We literally pulse vibration outward!
  • Most people have had God’s unconditional love, conditioned right out of them.
  • We are each a leaf on God’s tree (Gaia), each with our own unique perspective.
  • Displaying confidence is really just YOU, your real unlimited self!
  • Because I am a “being“, I am always worthy, because I am always . Always on my way. Always accepting.
  • When you with the ones you think the of, the world is yours!
  • When what you believe in hurts other people rather than helps, it’s not about , it’s about you.
  • When my tasks are aligned with my , I am going with the flow and feel great! When I am tired after work, I was in resistance.
  • If you can your enemies, man everything else comes !
  • There is nothing static in this world. Everything , revolves, shrinks, or grows. That’s life!
  • Its simple really. Instead of “God made us in God’s image”, we see and make God to be like us, in our image. (Which is what causes us the most problems.) God is Energy, in All.
  • Why were we made in God’s image? To reflect God in all we be, do, and have!
  • Be as water, flow on and all. Seek your own level (balance). Water is not good or bad, water just IS.
  • WE are to God upon each other, as water reflects the sky.
  • Whenever I bad, sad, mad, etc. it is always because my perspective differs from God’s POV which, is ALL WAYS

If your in a quandary about something, the best you can do in the moment may be to stop and do nothing (but keep breathing). Then, as you begin to start again, say yes only to the things that come your way that feel lighter (vs. heavier) feeling for the guiding bodily sensations before making a particular choice. Many call that listening to their “gut feeling.” I call these familiar sensations, my “God bumps”, and they are my validation that I’m heading the right way – and perhaps also confirming, so are you.

My way, may not be, your way. Many paths – one destination.

Don’t ignore your inner guidance – it exists for a reason.cropped-cropped-takeituponyourself-small-logo2.jpgIf you want to experience greater vitality, health, and prosperity, choose thoughts that move you to FEEL good. That’s about as simple as it gets and even a child can understand.

Please check out my books, other blog titles here and my articles on – thank you.

In the name of our Limitless, Ever-Living, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Pulsating, Be-ing, Creator Source God who IS the Energy that holds the Universe together. Beyond what we can see. Beyond what we now know. Faith IS the substance of things not yet seen.

In ALL ways, BE a blessing.

Amen and Namaste.

Juicing, Paleo, No-Grain Diet, Mostly Vegetarian – Who needs labels?

Okay so I am finally ready to reveal my new diet. I have been doing this for several months now and it’s working. It’s really working. I have lost weight effortlessly. Gained vitality. Renewed my body Temple. And increased the frequency with which, I feel connected to Source Creator God, and all of you. We Are All Connected.

We Are All One. Yes, yes, and yahoo… YES!

Here’s the deal about diet for life (lifestyle) change:

I drink raw vegetable juice — everyday. At least one 16 ounce raw veggie juice, often 32 ounces. Plus water. Monday through Friday–I only juice during the day. And if I don’t have time to juice for myself, I buy juices from a raw vegan cafe; thank you Ionie’s Cafe! Ionie’s vacuum seal the juice in glass mason jars. I pack my juice in a ThirtyOne bag (with ice) and enjoy at work. Then, for the evening meal… I eat a light meal or soup for dinner. That’s it. If I feel the need to eat something, I will mix raw nuts and seeds, typically only a 1/2 cup or less and throw in my work bag. Mostly pumpkin and sunflower seeds, walnuts, pecans, almonds, and brazil nuts. I eat a bit more on the weekends, but nothing outrageous.

The weekday light meal? Primarily, a can of Amy’s Organic soup, or a salad with grilled or broiled fish. Now and then, I will have some other vegetable like broccoli, sweet potato, or asparagus, but rarely white potatoes. On occasion, I will get a beef patty (no bun), or a steak, but I suspect I will only do that once every two or three months. I have basically lost my desire to eat meat. I like turkey once in awhile too, but we always look for the less processed, organic variety when we buy it.

I am not eating any processed sugar — unless you count wine. I had some sugar over the holidays because my daughter makes (and ships) chocolate truffles from New Hampshire and I love supporting her, so I had a few of those (one a day, every other day). Yes I am attempting to be transparent here. This also keeps me humble and on track. I do not desire to cheat because that’s only cheating my Temple.

UPDATE 1/1/2016: No more truffles and a lot less wine.

I am learning that I am a cross between a raw vegan and a paleo or no-grain eater. I am not a 100% raw vegan because I do still consume eggs, honey, fish, seafood, and very little meat. But I put into daily practice much of what I learned from being a raw vegan back in 2009-2010. I love raw vegan nut cheese instead of dairy cheese. Whenever I eat dairy cheese I can always tell the difference. I’ve also learned that my body does not digest raw tomatoes very well.

As for my spiritual growth:

As for the spirituality aspects of clean eating… the other night a lady asked if I go to church. I answered a triumphant… No. But then I thought, why would I when I believe my body is the Temple. Yes, with a capital T. And I believe all of your bodies are Temples too. I believe in God-made, vs. Man-made. I will always. That is a core belief of mine. Hmmm. I just misspelled belief as belife. Isn’t that interesting? I corrected it but now I am thinking be-life is actually better!

I am finding that by fasting during the daytime on weekdays, it has heightened my spiritual awareness, including also a physical awareness of how much people around me EAT. The over consumption in America is disheartening. It’s not wonder so many of us are overweight and miserable. I highly suspect our bodies were never meant to be in this shape, and yes, round is a shape.

I am focused on learning more about energy medicine. By changing my focus from food: what to eat, how to make it, when to buy it, etc. I definitely have more time available for reading, sharing, and learning about energy, frequency, brain waves, intuition, etc. Case in point, this week I took my first Jin Shin Jyutsu class. I am amazed how how wonderful I feel! I feel good, really good.

I mean, I always feel pretty good. Can’t complain. But on occasion I’ve experienced vertigo (ever since working at the Space Center, which I felt may have had something to do with it). The vertigo would come and go. I felt that I had to be watchful when it came to doing any task that might set it off. Laying on a massage table for a massage, at times, could cause me to experience vertigo. Forget about head down yoga postures!

So, the other day after 30 minutes of Jin Shin Jyutsu – both of my ears “opened”! I was ecstatic! Now I can flip my head over to put a towel on my head after getting out of the shower! Yay! Yahoo!

About faith, timing, and living life more abundantly:

The Bible is full of stories about how God created us in His image and wants us to live life and have it more abundantly. To me, those understandings mean that He provides for us, in all ways, for our health, and for our needs. I think we’re the ones that think that means He will always answer our prayers and give us what we desire, but I do not think so. I believe our needs are always, in ALL WAYS, provided. But often God withholds some things, and some answers, for a later time for us, when we are prepared to handle those things. That is why I believe God’s timing is always perfect. And blessed assurance tells me that is why, when the student is ready, the teacher arrives.

Have faith. You know, faith – which is the opposite of worry. Faith IS the substance of things not yet seen. That said, worry is actually a sin because God tells us to have faith. Exercise your faith by taking care of yourself. The Bible also instructs us how to eat and move our bodies, but how many of us follow those instructions? I think it pleases God when we learn about those and practice those habits. Pork is not the other white meat. Pigs are dirty animals that have no sweat glands. Quit dishing on PETA people and take an honest look at what they have to say. Or talk to a pig farmer. Watch a documentary. Just don’t eat pork. Make it easy. Those parasites in pork, yeah they live through the cooking process. And really, the more crap you eat, the harder it will be for you to feel good. I’d bet it also shortens your life. And if you believe suicide is a sin then dying a slow death by eating stupid silly non-beneficial foods is a sin too.

Now, I am not preaching all this stuff to make you feel guilty. Just quit complaining about what other people do and think about what you do. Study to show thyself approved and make one small change at a time until you feel good. I am not above anyone. I am human and I fail. But God has been showing me some things. So, I am sharing what I learn in an effort to help you feel good. Nothing more. Be healthy. Live well.

Quit running to doctors and putting your faith into what amounts to be medical witchcraft (Yes look up the history, especially all of you who are so fast to point a finger at anyone who believes in another religion). Those big pharmaceutical companies you love so much are a cog in the wheel of the beast. They do NOTHING to cure anyone. They may prolong life but in what state? They do not cure. They ease suffering perhaps. They mask symptoms so you never DO anything to heal your Temple. In my estimation, they are the liars. They are the ones who are selling you false hope. I am tired of hearing people’s excuses why they need this or that drug from a chronic illness. Your lifestyle, mostly the food you’re eating, that’s what’s chronic.

Go to the doctor if you break a bone, but for asthma, digestive issues, migraines, back aches, arthritis, inflammation, and more… seek alternative advice. I am not a doctor, nor do I prescribe any treatments or solutions. I am shaking you awake! Take It Upon Yourself to live your best, most vital life!

As for exercise, meditation, and Jin Shin Jyutsu:

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an energy medicine art that I have decided to focus on this year. I am learning (thanks to reader comments and friends), that it’s best to meditate, then perform Jin Shin Jyutsu, then do my daily stair climbing. That makes sense to me. But I am always trying to maximize what little spare time I have. I work full-time. So, I do the stair climbing when I need a break at work. Thankfully I am able to take a 10-15 minute break twice a day, and my stair climbing has improved so much that I can climb 8 flights safely, and return, within that time. Much less actually.

Exercise works the body, and meditation dedicates the mind. I will learn transcendental meditation (TM) at some point.

The pulsing, or vibration that I feel when I practice Jin Shin Jyutsu is simply amazing! I feel God bumps when I talk about it! I need nothing outside of myself to validate anything for me.

I am connected to my breath, I am enjoying all the self-care I have learned about this past year. I am excited and hopeful about the future. All really is well.

I have a second new book coming out in February, so stay tuned for more on that. The name of the book is, The Energy of Receiving by Happiness Publishing. My first book is doing well on Amazon. You can find it here –>> Transform Your Life, Book 2 Inspirational Stories and Expert Insights.

Words are only as powerful as we allow

In many circles you will hear people say that “words are powerful”, but do you believe it?

If words are powerful, do you know why? Because words carry vibration. Vibrational TONE. The tone sets up something for people, and animals too, that carries your intention forward.

Think of a time when you called out to a loved one, or pet, by name. Maybe they came to you. Their choice. Their free will. But, maybe they didn’t come to you. Or maybe not immediately. Perhaps they chose to stop whatever it was they were doing that you didn’t like. Or, perhaps not!

You call out again. Still, they do not bend to YOUR will, wishes, or desire. You call AGAIN. This time your tone of voice changes, getting more irritated, annoyed, angry, and LOUD. You can’t understand why, with all the energy your transmitting to this person, or pet with your voice, you’re not commanding their attention. You are attempting to control that person or animal with words.

Yet, the only difference in the words is the tone.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to drop whatever I am doing and go to a person who’s yelling at me, especially when I hear them using an angry tone. If however, I sense they are calling for me from a caring heart-centered place, I will go. Especially, since I am an empath.

If, however, I sense the yelling has a concern behind it, such as: “Get out of the way”, “Fire”, or “Help”, then yes, I will likely respond by moving quickly, calling out to others, getting help, or offering assistance.

You can tell someone’s intention by their tone of voice. We almost instinctively perceive that!

The first thing the person who yells a lot must get (understand) is that they do not control anyone.

The commanding shouter may make someone uncomfortable enough that they choose to do something for them / bend to their will (think of a soldier going through boot camp) but, 100% of the time, all day, every day, the person on the receiving end of the shouting / yelling has a choice.

If you are yelling at me, I can choose to do as you desire, or NOT! The world does not revolve around you!

So, why do people feel the need to control others with their words? What is all the damned yelling and shouting about anyway?

Over time, yelling at me just desensitizes me to the shouting. Or, my body becomes so stressed that I leave, and get away from that person – even if it means quitting a job! Loud vocals stress my body, if I choose to internalize those commanding words.

I would simply say, loud vocals stress my body, but that is only true if I’m accepting of them.

For example, if I love a particular rock band, I can go to the concert and love the loud singer! So, again, it’s all in our interpretation or how we perceive the tones, or words.

Children hear, “sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me”. Is this true? Studies show people who are constantly yelled at become negatively conditioned. (The particular study I linked to here says it also depends upon how much credit we give to the person yelling at us, someone in authority, or parent, etc. their words carry more weight!)

Words roared at us, even more so by those we love, either set us up to become aggressive (anger directed outward) or go into our shell, turning anger inward which, turns into depression or resentment. They may get to a point where they no longer pay attention to anyone who yells at them or they cry, become nervous, etc.

Yes, some words hurt, but maybe not for all the reasons we think.

The intention of the person using the word sets the tone. It’s not just the word that hurts.

Words after all, are just words. They are not REAL. They may represent something, but they are abstract and we can choose to define them any which way we want!

Words need to have a shared definition before they really count for anything anyway. Shared definition is very important – for example, you may define the word “fun” very different than I define the word “fun”. Interestingly we may define the words: “hurt”, “fear”, “pain”, etc. very differently based upon our understanding and experience.

When someone speaks light, fun, happy, or encouraging words to us the tone is typically lighter too! We feel it. Think of how your lover speaks to you. Think of how your best friend speaks to you when you’re engaging in fun, giggly, or perhaps deep insightful conversation. Think of how your grandparent or other close relative speaks to you WHEN they are flowing pure love (energy) to you. You feel loved, warm, and cared for as they speak! You know that they love you, their words are soothing and envelope you in love. Ah!

So let’s try a little experiment. As you sit there and read my words, be sure there is nothing else going to make you excited, no drama – ok? Make sure you’re not distracted and that you are relatively calm and peaceful.

As you begin to read the following list of words –  note if any push your buttons. Specifically do they get  you riled up, mad, sad, or other negative emotion. You’re safe. No one is physically going to harm you and you know this. Only check as you read each word slowly if you feel any mental or physical response. Here goes:

  • Confrontation
  • You’re ugly
  • Scream
  • Attack
  • You’re stupid
  • Betrayal
  • Fight
  • You’re bad
  • Struggle
  • Aggravate
  • Shut up
  • Insult
  • Coward
  • Assault

Do you feel anything in your mind or body as you read the words? Can you agree that these are just words. Characters on the screen. If you felt anything in your mind or body do you see where that is because of the way you define the word or link it with a previous experience?

When someone relays a hurtful story do you, do you find yourself wincing or in some other way empathizing with their story? Again, you are not IN their story – no one is attacking you, but often I find that many of us (especially empathic people) in some small way can sense or feel the pain the person went through during their experience. It’s also the reason I won’t watch certain movies. If I don’t feel the pain in my body I may have bad dreams because the movie assaulted my mind.

To take this topic, “Words are only as powerful as we allow” in another direction, what about doctors who tell their patients they only have 6 months to live? Those words hurt in another way.

In my opinion, doctors break the Hippocratic oath when they tell patients they only have x number of weeks or months to live or there’s nothing else they can do. The doctor may not shout at you, so it’s not the volume of the voice (such as yelling) but those words are very heavy to receive. In fact, it has been theorized that a doctor’s end of life time frame prediction could induce an auto-suggestion manifesting as self fulfilling prophecy.

What’s wrong in this scenario is that people ascribe so much weight to the doctor’s words because of the physician’s credentials and so-called authority. The finality of the meaning we ascribe to the time limit of this death sentence (no pun intended) really packs a punch! In fact, I recall several people telling me that when their doctor told them they only had x weeks or months to live they literally felt a “punch in the gut” of their body!

So, do you stop to question if the doctor’s statement is really true before reacting? Do you take a few minutes to engage your cognitive mind, stay calm, and let the doctor know you want a second, or third opinion? Do you seek out many other experts? Or do you take this one doctor’s word for when you will die? I invite you to think about that because the nocebo effect (read Bruce Lipton’s book “Biology of Belief”) is being proven every day. Of course if you challenge those negative words (and some do – thankfully) they prove the opposite and outlive the prescribed time frame and experience spontaneous healing!

I have been studying the placebo (and nocebo effect) that Bruce Lipton, Phd. speaks of for several years. When we got into the “raw and living foods” philosophy of eating back in 2008 we shared meals with many people who rejected their allopathic physician’s “limit on their life span” and took it upon themselves to gain knowledge and allow their bodies to heal naturally. Dr. Lipton still interviews about the placebo effect and how traditional western doctors only get about 15 minutes of education on it in medical school. In my opinion, even if doctors got a whole course on the placebo effect (and nocebo effect) it wouldn’t be enough.

Dr. Alison J. Kay talks about the placebo effect as well. She has studied in the east, Asia and India and thoroughly knows and understands the basis of the placebo effect (using several modalities, including meditation) and it’s relationship basis of subtle energy. (Reference my full article about Dr. Kay’s work here.)

Recently I’ve come upon an interview by Dr. Paul Drouin of along with Dr. Joe Dispenza where they discuss the placebo effect –>> Click here. This also may explain by how so called “false hope” may indeed be helpful to someone. When you look at the science (which is just measured observation) it begins to make sense.

Let me give you some happy and light words and see if now, they change your mood, or if you feel these in your mind or body:

  • Safe
  • Hug
  • Silly
  • Joke
  • Fun
  • Tickle
  • Whisper
  • Smile
  • Love
  • Laugh
  • Winning
  • Cuddle
  • Soft

How do you feel now? Again, just words. Again, just what meaning you attach to these. Did you think of your pets, loved ones, children, etc.?

One of the Pixar short video’s we love is called, “Dug’s Special Mission” from the movie “Up”. In it there’s a line that my husband and I say to each other often when we’re seeking to be understood. It’s always said in fun, and with a light heart. The line is: “Do you understand the words that I am speaking to you now?” It is our belief that the intention and tone used when words are spoken, often say much more than the word chosen implies.

I am a tonal. I read between the lines – a LOT! Sometimes I get it wrong, or maybe not. Maybe people just catch themselves and then clarify what they mean when I question their words, but I am always seeking to understand. Sometimes when I perceive someone speaking in a harsh or brisk tone it takes me awhile to figure out if they intend to be forceful, irritating, or hurtful. Their tone has probably caused me some undue fatigue. I have even been irritated by the tone of someone’s laughter! Has that ever happened to you?

If you are in any kind of pain or dis-ease, let’s try that same word power game. Focus on the pain in your body. Assign the pain a number 1-10 with 10 being the most intense. Now read the following words:

  • Trust myself
  • Kind
  • Hug myself
  • It’s OK
  • Allow
  • Comfort
  • Getting better
  • Peace
  • I’m alive
  • Knowing
  • Healing
  • Power
  • I’m still breathing
  • Pure Joy
  • Blessed
  • Pure Love
  • Light
  • Flow
  • Bliss

Check in with your pain again. Has your number 1-10 come down?

Even if your number only came down one number say, from a 9 to an 8, that’s improvement! If so, this validates and proves to you the power of words. Read them again but this time in the voice of one person (who either now or from your past) who has a voice you love and who always spoke in a nice, sweet, caring tone. Do it now.

Recheck your pain level.

Bottom line: Words only carry the power (vibration and energy) as we allow. The tone in which the words are spoken (either out loud or in our heads), or the authority of those who speak the words – attempts to make the words carry more meaning / power, however we still have a choice whether to buy in to that or not. If we do not buy into people’s authority, the power of their words mean less to us. If we can decipher someone’s intention based upon the tone we can also better choose whether to accept or reject their words.

Peace and love to all.

Why do I censor or limit myself? God is. Just Be.

My previous post was about living a joyous life in balance. Ah, bliss. And it should be so easy, right? Eh, well not exactly.

People limit themselves everyday. We fuss, nag, find fault, argue, criticize, and blah, blah, blah… So, why do I censor or limit myself in conversations? Isn’t it obvious?

I limit my words, uh many times even my thoughts, because someone was critical of me in the past. Maybe a parent, teacher, coach, boss, or authority figure – that is unimportant. It doesn’t matter whom. The point is – we humans like to limit things. We like to label things. People will tell you, “don’t worry or care what people think”… but then mysteriously those same folks – usually within the same conversation – will say something that carries the essence of, “be careful, don’t say too much, don’t tell him or her this or that.”

I give you this fact. Many people have good intentions. They want to protect you somehow. Protect you from saying too much so you won’t get into trouble. Hmm. But isn’t that their problem?

Censoring myself, limits me and puts me in a state flux vibrationally. I get nervous. I get flustered. My face may even get red. I end up with a mindful of clutter! All I can ever truly be – is myself. Like me or not. Care or not. I make mistakes, I learn, I fall, I get up, I cry, I love, I give, I receive. I am vulnerable. I am not superwoman – and I don’t really think anyone else is superman or superwoman either.

UPDATE: Want to feel empowered? Get your cape on!

If I, having noble purpose, believe I have something to share, begin to open my mouth but then my mind jumps to thoughts like, “Oh, they don’t want to know, they don’t care” that’s enough to stop me dead in my tracks. Why? Because no one wants to be judged or condemned. We all want to be liked! If we didn’t want people to like us, we’d never go out, we’d never join with others in any social situation. We’d sit alone day! Ha! But then a strange thing would happen. The ones we thought would judge us would be the very ones who would say, “come on, get out and be a joiner”! Do you get the irony in this?

So really, you can’t get it wrong. Just be. Be yourself. Without limitations.

Even my feeble attempt to list all the names (why must humans LABEL everything?) that humans ascribe to the LIMITLESS Filling-All-Space Creator I honor causes me to scratch my head, analyze, and scrutinize. How do I order this list? Ugh! My mind goes to a place of judgement… I know someone won’t like that I’m including names of: Mother Father, Allah, Buddha, or Zen. All this judgment and it feels so heavy. But God is love, and I almost can’t think of any other all consuming love (at least not in my human form) better than a mother or father (or grandparent) can give to a child – so for me, calling God as Mother Father feels so good, so comforting, so forgiving, and so full of grace. Ohh I am so saved. So loved. I am not perfect but I am so very, wholly, LOVED!

All the various beliefs we hold, many are so personal, so deeply entrenched within us, that putting the names into the same article, or list, will be judged, labeled, and so on! Go on, that’s fine. You’re not perfect either! But you are worthy. You are loved. 😉 Obviously human beings cannot agree, most cannot even discuss these Holy names for God – there is no consensus and certainly there are multitudes of faiths, religions, and many, many wars have been fought, with untold millions of lives lost due to the very notion / belief that one of these names, carry more importance, than the others. But names are only words. Words must be defined to carry any meaning to anyone. Period. If I AM (right now in the present moment) aware of, consciously tuned in to:

God Creator Great Spirit Great Mystery Holy Spirit Holy Trinity Jehovah Jesus the Christ Lord YHWH Elohim Mother / Father Great Architect Supreme Deity Christ Consciousness Supreme Being Buddha Absolute Zen ALL-ONE Allah Source Ishvara Brahman Bodhisatva Infinite Intelligence All-that-IS-ness All-Knowing Divine Presence Energy I AM Alpha and Omega The Beginning and The End Omnipresence Omnipotent Immanence

Why, oh why, would I EVER limit myself??? There are NO limitations!!! Let us not lie to ourselves! There’s so much GOOD going on and I’m tuned in!

People are friendly. People smile. People are kind and do good things for each other.

I see beauty EVERYWHERE and everything is working together for our good! Everything occurs in perfect timing in accordance with the order of life, of God. We are all connected in so many direct and subtle ways. How can anyone deny it? We live in a field of INFINITE possibilities. Get over your lack mentality.

Resonate, vibrate, tune yourself to the POWER and knowledge YOU are who you are meant to be. Quit resisting! Resisting your true beautiful, whole, powerful nature is the same as putting a clamp on a water hose. Just let God’s love and power flow through you always. 😉

I am a spiritual being having an earthly experience and so are YOU! Be real with yourself. I love to help others awaken. I’ve got so much to share!

Bloom where you’re planted. I am! Since I love teaching, sharing, and writing – here’s my expression. Each post is a bloom on the flower of my life.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth came to enlighten us. He came to show us that we’re energy. He showed us how to live in the full awareness of how to live in our wellness and wholeness. Be it now.

To be something means, you are “being.” You are a human being. Being means vibration, pulsing, activating, acting as if, and exercising your faith! Jesus did not look upon illness or dis-ease, He saw us in our whole (Holy) state of being. Go to the scriptures and read the miracles again. Jesus healed a man who had been born blind. It is written Jesus put mud on the man’s eyes. Then you know what? Jesus instructed the man to go to the river and wash! The blind man was healed by putting his faith into action. Yes, “your faith has made you whole.”

If you need encouragement and upliftment today quietly say to yourself or out loud with boldness…

  • With every breath, God
  • With every heartbeat God
  • I am who and where God is
  • God is with me
  • I am never ever alone
  • Alone is a lie
  • Alone has been misrepresented
  • Alone has been ill-defined
  • I know God is with me
  • I align myself with Source

Then say with your most open heart: “Thank You” as a child says, thank you. God knows. For some beautiful worship check out: Rev. Michael Beckwith

My daily mission: to consistently and joyfully manage the contrast between things that frustrate me (like a pebble in my shoe), which cause me to ask for improvements in my spiritual yet earthbound experience, and reach for better feeling thoughts, keeping my body at ease, allowing myself to receive the divine blessings God has in store for me. In other words: To be joyfully aware of LIMITLESS Filling-All-Space Creator in every present moment. To me, this is the sum total of living a blessed, blissful, joyous, and happy life – everyday no matter what the circumstances.

Always remember we walk by faith. Be conscious every present moment. We walk in the light and are never alone. We are all connected.

Ease, peace, calm, love, light, joy, bliss, namaste, and, and…

Something I don’t talk about part II or digging deeper

Our move to St Petersburg, Florida allowed me the soul reaching pleasure to meet several new folks and reconnect with old friends. In my research and reading about “connectedness” and “it’s all energy / frequency” I am now beginning to really “get” this concept of “there’s no coincidences.”

A couple weeks ago, after the whole vet experience that I wrote about in my Orlando Examiner blog post with our doggie, Beau, I was led to someone who would open me to yet another level, or layer, of “energy and frequency knowledge.” If I am losing you, don’t worry – it may make sense after you re-read my previous post, Something I don’t talk about. Or you may want to skip this all together. I have been known to lose people in my logic and ramblings. This is more for me to note certain things–and as is the reason for all of my posts– to leave a legacy for my beautiful granddaughter, Jennifer. So here we go.

I was led to Sue (at the first health food store I visited) and she connected me to Linda at the natural food store for animals – who, because I mentioned I do “EFT / “Tapping”, proceeded to introduce me to the store’s owner, and animal wellness author, who’s name was also Sue. This Sue was also VERY into energy, frequency, etc. So, we did an EFT session right then, that day, on the spot! And I felt that spiritual connection, as if someone life changing had entered my experience.

Sue loaned me a book she had on her shelf. That book? Power vs. Force by David R. Hawkins, M.D. Ph.D. Wow! I brought it home and continued to read it as often as I could. To say that this book shifted my world and mind is probably an understatement. Nonlinear dynamics and chaos theory explained. Ah! It’s like breathing math when I read and comprehend this wisdom.

Passages such as, “Can man lift himself by his bootstraps? Why not? All he has to do is increase his buoyancy and he will effortlessly rise to a higher state. Force cannot accomplish that feat. Power not only can, but constantly does.” As well, “Force is experienced through the senses; power can be recognized only through inner awareness.”

I keep talking with others about frequency and how our five senses are just “receiving” frequencies. How do you know that when someone plays the C note on the piano is being heard as the same C note for all? How do you know? Well, over time many people sort of observed by hearing it and agreed that C sounds like C? We do not even have the words to explain what C sounds like, we have to HEAR it. As a group of us listen to that C note, we agree, yes, ah, that is C. Do you see what I mean? haha!

So, with that being said, when someone stubs their toe, they feel it. Or do they? Not everyone FEELS that pain the same way. We know some people have a high tolerance for pain, and others have a low tolerance of pain.

When I SEE someone get hurt, I feel it. Some people have told me that means I am an empath. It’s probably why I cry when I watch movies that are dramatic, really I cannot imagine that I totally related to everything going on that is sad in every movie or TV show. I cry, others do not. I am sensitive in that way. Apparently, not everyone is. I have watched TV shows and movies with other people and they are fine – they are disconnected from the emotions of the characters. I am not. That’s why I can’t watch certain shows or movies, they’re too overwhelming for me.

My eyes and ears interpret something in the frequencies being transmitted on a much deeper level than others. It’s why I knew I could not be a counselor. I knew I would bring my work home with me every day and it would spill over into my home life, affecting my relationships.

So, reading Power vs. Force, I was struck when I read, “the person who has arrived at a habitual state of unconditional Love will experience anything less as unacceptable. As one advances in the evolution of his individual consciousness, the process becomes self-perpetuating and self-correcting, so that self-improvement becomes a way of life.” That explains it! Why I seem to be on this inexhaustible quest for correctness in living / loving / forgiving. Maybe also that is why so many people have come into my life whom I have had to forgive? Another thread to unravel.

I’ve always tended to be a person who perceived injustices to myself and those around me. I thought it was because of my native American ancestry – whereby my grandmother and her people had been persecuted. As well as, experiencing religious persecution. Hmm, but now I read that “…moralistic judgments are merely a function of the viewpoint from which they proceed.” A person who is resonating at a higher level of consciousness views morality very differently than the person who is vibrating in the lower frequencies and that makes a lot of sense to me!

I just told my adult daughter the other day, a snake is not a dog. They are different creatures. If you want a snake as a pet do not expect the snake to behave the same way as if you brought a dog home. They are completely different and they behave differently. You would not apply the same expectations to the snake as you would apply to the dog. Right? So if you marry the man whom you think is soft, warm, and cuddly then over time he shows his true colors, sheds his skin and becomes the snake, ah, now you know – you didn’t really marry the dog, you married the snake! Your expectations could never have been correct, as the dog is not the same as the snake. The man shows his true colors over time (people can only pretend for so long) and if you continue to treat him as the cute, warm, and cuddly dog, do not expect him to change from snake to dog – it doesn’t happen. Your expectations are what must change – or better yet, have no expectations at all.

I think as I continue reading I will have much more to share.

Is anyone reading this? LOL

I’m interested to know how many others are the least bit interested. Are you also searching?

Do you believe as I do that there are no coincidences? Do you believe that we are all connected?

If you do not want to comment, I certainly understand. You can email me directly:

UPDATE: July 6th, 2014 –> Check out my newest post, We Are All Connected.

Something I Don’t Talk About…

I distinctly recall a night, many years ago, while mom was driving us home – I became intrigued by power lines along the road. I gazed out the window and mused about electricity, or better yet, energy. I’ve never publicly discussed this memory before.

I remember reverse engineering the power process. While looking at those electric lines I mentally traced the energy flowing from pole to pole, all the way to our house. I wondered where the source was. I asked mom, “how does the energy come through these lines to our house, to the street lights, etc.?” I think this must have surprised her, because I don’t think she had an answer for me. Or perhaps whatever answer she provided didn’t resolve my curiosity. I somehow intrinsically became aware the seemingly endless supply of power to our home via these electric lines and I was transfixed, totally mesmerized as to how it worked. I also felt connected to this somehow. I yearned to understand.

Looking back, I’m surprised I didn’t seek work for a power company – but my first job was waiting tables. And my first college course was electronics. (For years I’ve credited my interest in electronics to my dad who ran a CB radio business on the side from our home). Now I believe this early experience was the catalyst of “why” I wanted to learn about electronics, computers, and more specifically, frequency.

Now, all things energy interest me. Anything and everything about it. Bioenergy, particles and waves, energy healing, etc.

However, my career to date has been – computers. Early on I wanted to build them, I was fascinated with the early circuit boards. I loved using meter tools to measure how much power it took to make small lights (LEDs) come on, etc. But when that didn’t work out, I started selling computers – as well as, providing setup, delivery, and training.

Selling computers (coupled with that first electronics class) led me to a job where I could learn more, involving inputting data into database systems. My natural ability to put people at ease and be inquisitive, along with many  influential people helped along the way:

  • An unknown RCA technician man who told me “if you wear glasses now you won’t want to work on what’s coming” (and what was coming was surface mount technology)
  • My friend Margie who took me by the hand and pushed me to register for that electronics course
  • An acquaintance who suggested I apply for a job at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as we drove by on the way to pick up carpet out of his small plane which, I had offered to clean
  • Bill Gates, love him or not – I’ve had a wonderful career due to Microsoft operating systems / software

Not long after I bought my first personal computer I began developing websites, and learning how to configure sections, or modules, of large and complex database systems – some proprietary and some commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications. The end result though was to always fulfill my clients’ needs. Most of the time my needs were met too – that of being able to work with energy – in a box kind of way.

I think in terms of “processes.” I’m always looking for ways, even when out and about, where I could take a manual process and add electronics to aid in the ease of doing something. My “process thinking” helps me quickly analyze business needs, and work at an eager pace to provide value to clients to help work flow better.

Speaking of “flow”, that brings me back full circle to where this conversation began – the flow of energy through those electric lines which, first grabbed my attention when I was just five or six years old.
